At TAV Remodeling, we are committed to:
We expect these same commitments from all suppliers, contractors, and third-party partners we engage with ("Suppliers"). Compliance with these standards is a mandatory condition for doing business with us. By providing services, products, or goods to TAV Remodeling, Suppliers certify adherence to this Code of Conduct. Non-compliance may result in the termination of the business relationship. Additionally, violating these standards could lead to legal repercussions.
Suppliers must respect the right of employees to associate, organize, and bargain collectively in a lawful and peaceful manner, free from penalty or interference.
Any form of corruption, extortion, or bribery is strictly prohibited. Suppliers must not offer, pay, or authorize bribes to government officials or others to secure or maintain business. Compliance with all relevant laws, including the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and UK Bribery Act, is required.

Every employee deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Suppliers must not engage in any form of physical, psychological, or sexual harassment or abuse, including corporal punishment or threats of violence.
Suppliers are expected to adhere to all applicable wage laws, including minimum wage requirements, and provide legally mandated benefits. Working hours must not exceed the maximum allowed by local law, and overtime must be compensated appropriately. In addition, Remodel Washington DC expects that wages meet employees' basic needs.
TAV Remodeling is committed to sourcing materials responsibly. Suppliers must ensure that the materials they provide, including conflict minerals such as gold, tin, tungsten, and tantalum, are "conflict-free," meaning they do not fund armed conflicts.
Suppliers must avoid any activities that would present a conflict of interest in their business relationship with TAV Remodeling.
Suppliers must provide a safe and healthy workplace in compliance with all local laws. This includes access to clean drinking water, sanitary facilities, fire safety measures, and adequate ventilation and lighting.
TAV Remodeling prohibits the solicitation or acceptance of any form of gifts or incentives from Suppliers that could influence business decisions. This includes cash and cash equivalents such as gift cards. Business meals and outings are allowed if they are conducted in the normal course of business and do not influence decision-making.
The use of forced labor, including prison, bonded, or indentured labor, is strictly prohibited. Suppliers must ensure that all labor is voluntary and that they do not engage in any form of human trafficking.
Suppliers must allow TAV Remodeling or its designated agents to conduct audits and inspections to verify compliance with this Code of Conduct. This includes unannounced visits to facilities, document reviews, and private employee interviews.
Suppliers must ensure that their employment practices do not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or any other protected category. All employees must be treated fairly in hiring, promotion, and termination.
Suppliers must comply with all applicable environmental laws and strive to minimize environmental impact by using resources responsibly and disposing of waste in accordance with regulations.
Suppliers are required to communicate the provisions of this Code of Conduct to their employees and post a copy in an accessible location in the local language.
Suppliers must inform TAV Remodeling if they plan to use subcontractors. All subcontractors must also comply with this Code of Conduct.
Suppliers must maintain a workplace free from violence or threats of violence and have protocols in place to respond effectively if such incidents occur.
